Summer Sessions…

Summer means mojitos and music, jazz and jamborees, and summer series of concerts…  I am thrilled to be part of a big band touring in Toronto at Taste of the Danforth Festival, Scarborough Civic Centre, and a private event at the Scarborough Country Club. I’ll also be featured as part of the KAMA Jazz Series Thursdays along with the Scott Neary Ensemble.  More writing is underway for the next album with some amazing award-winning collaborators.Stay tuned to more updates on Facebook and Twitter.

We’re deep into writing for the next album, and thrilled to be collaborating with some amazing award-winning artists, noted jazz artists. For the upcoming material and tour dates, I’m excited to have a polished new jazz-centric arrangement with the band, and some crooning vocals. Takes me back to my youth listening to Chet Baker, Billie Holiday, Tony Bennett and newer artists like Diana Krall and Harry Connick Jr. Expect some standards from the golden era of Broadway and film, and some WWII songs to be added to sets along with new original “standards.”
